Apple is yet to join the race to deploy advanced chatbots like ChatGPT, which is powered by a large language model that is trained to generate text based on huge datasets scraped from the web. This technology is different from what Apple currently offers with its Siri voice assistant, which is powered by a command and control system. Microsoft, Google and Amazon have all released their own versions of the technology, sparking a race to bring their own competing versions to market.
