Google has announced an update to its conversational AI chatbot, Bard, which now has the ability to generate and rewrite code in more than 20 programming languages, as well as create functions for use in Google Sheets. Bard can also translate code from one language to another, and export Python code to Google Drive for use in Colab. This update could make the chatbot far more useful to developers and students, as well as finance and sales workers who have a strong grip on the data but little experience with coding.
