Alphabet Inc.’s Google has unveiled a range of AI tools for its email, collaboration and cloud software, taking aim at Microsoft Corp. The tools include a “magic wand” for Google Docs that can draft text and revise its tone, summarise message threads in Gmail, craft slide presentations, personalise customer outreach, and take meeting notes. Microsoft is expected to make a similar announcement at a Thursday event.
