A team of researchers has developed an AI system using deep learning to assist embryologists in choosing the most viable embryo for IVF. In a study of over 1,000 patients, the system’s success rate was only marginally lower than that of a human expert. This technology has the potential to improve the success rates of IVF and reduce the burden on embryologists.
