A study has been conducted using artificial intelligence (AI) to assist in the selection of embryos for in vitro fertilization (IVF). The results showed that the AI system had a success rate similar to that of a human expert. The system uses deep learning, an AI method for finding patterns in large amounts of data, to identify which embryos have the best chance of success.
