ONVIF has initiated three new working groups to standardize cloud connectivity, audio solutions, and advanced metadata in the physical security and video surveillance markets. These groups, made up of volunteers from ONVIF member companies, aim to support the industry’s transition to new technologies and approaches. More than 60 member representatives are currently involved in the five ONVIF Working Groups, which are focused on creating test suites for key use cases in cloud access control, cloud audio, and other IoT applications.
