The Indian Army has launched a new tech-based innovation called “Vidyut Rakshak”, an integrated generator monitoring, protection, and control system. This system utilizes Internet of Things technology to connect and exchange data with other devices and the cloud. It is applicable to all existing generators held by the Indian Army and automates manual operation, saving manpower. The launch event also included the roll-out of the first production units of Vidyut Rakshak.
