Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a $230m investment in early-stage start-ups working in the AI and machine learning sectors. The investment includes AWS credits, mentorship, and education for the top 80 start-ups selected for its generative AI accelerator. These credits can be used for computing, storage, and access to database technologies, as well as AI chips and SageMaker. Amazon has been heavily investing in AI to stay ahead of the curve.
