The University of St Andrews and the National Centre for Atmospheric Science have formed a partnership to use artificial intelligence and advanced computing to enhance climate change research and weather science. Machine learning and AI offer potential to predict climate change and extreme weather events, and the collaboration will focus on developing faster and more accurate predictions of global climate variability and weather forecasts.
