The ETH Board of Switzerland has appointed a total of 17 new professors, including seven women and ten men. The appointments include five individuals who have been awarded the title of professor and three individuals who have been awarded the title of Professor of Practice. The board also recognized the resignations of eleven professors. Among the new appointments, 52% are women. The appointments at ETH Zurich include Ueli Angst, an expert in durability of engineering materials, and Hyunju Kwon, a mathematician focused on solving difficult problems.
