Dzs To Acquire Subscriber Access Technology Leader Netcomm

DZS DZSI has announced a binding agreement to acquire NetComm Wireless Pty Ltd., a global leader in broadband networking and software-defined cloud solutions. The acquisition will create one of the world’s most comprehensive and technologically advanced last mile broadband access portfolios, with NetComm’s Fiber Extension, FWA, Home Broadband, and Industrial IoT products and patents. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024 and will bring in approximately 60% of NetComm’s employees, including their research and development and customer care team members.
