This article explores the use of digital technologies (DTs) in the construction sustainability literature, with a focus on key DTs such as building information modeling (BIM) and Internet of Things (IoT). The study reveals that DTs are most commonly used during the design and O&M stages of construction, and BIM is the most frequently mentioned DT in relation to sustainability. IoT is also highlighted as an important technology for improving sustainability through the use of sensors and actuators.
