Eleven faculty members at The University of Texas at Austin have been elected fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science for their contributions to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Their research includes engineering biology for industrial purposes, studying a virus that causes cancer in mice, and developing a gene therapy for breast cancer.
