Microsoft has proposed using OpenAI’s image generation tool, DALL-E, to assist the Department of Defense in military operations. This comes after OpenAI lifted its ban on military work and Microsoft invested $10 billion in the company. The proposal was presented at a Department of Defense training seminar and discovered by journalist Jack Poulson.
