The ETH Board has appointed seven women and seventeen men as professors and awarded titles to six individuals. The Board also noted the resignations of three professors. In the last 12 months, the Board has made 24 new appointments for women and 23 for men, with a 51% proportion of women. Dr. Laura Bégon-Lours has been appointed as Assistant Professor of Neuromorphic Electronics, focusing on the development of bio-inspired chips for artificial neural networks. Dr. Christian Freudlsperger has been appointed as Assistant Professor of Multilevel Politics, with research interests in European integration, comparative federalism, and political development.
