The University of California San Diego has expanded its Accelerating Interdisciplinary Research Collaborations for Early-Career Faculty program, which aims to help early-career professors build interdisciplinary research collaborations and secure multi-year funding. The program funds research collaborations between two different disciplines, providing valuable experiences for graduate students. It is funded by Irwin and Joan Jacobs, and has been doubled in size this year.
