SRK Consulting has developed the HxGN MineProtect Operator Alertness System (OAS), which uses advanced algorithms and machine learning to detect and manage risks of operator fatigue and distraction in mining environments. The system also offers real-time notifications and data analytics for continuous operational improvement. The OAS has a high level of performance and accuracy, with the ability to differentiate between different types of head movements and eye closure. It also has the capability to automatically identify operator ID and assign profiles accordingly. The system is primarily installed in haulage equipment and does not record or report events without validation.
