Rep. Robert Ace S. Barbers of Surigao del Norte has proposed a bill that seeks to create a “superbody” to maximize the benefits and minimize the negative impacts of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The bill aims to promote AI usage and protect citizens from individuals adopting criminal schemes using AI. The bill also recognizes the importance of AI in the development of the country and addresses the risks and challenges posed by the rapid phase of technological advancement in AI.
