AI expert Lisa Palmer has warned that many jobs are already being replaced by AI, with white-collar jobs being the first to face the axe. Chatbot ChatGPT is one example of AI that can write, read and solve complex puzzles, while other AI programmes can create realistic images, videos and voices. Palmer believes that many roles will cease to exist in the future, and there is little that can be done to stop AI from replacing people in their jobs.
