Researchers are planning to accelerate the development of artificial general intelligence (AGI) with a worldwide network of powerful computers. The first supercomputer will come online in September and will be used to train the architectures required for AGI. This includes elements of advanced AI systems such as deep neural networks, large language models, and multimodal systems. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024 or early 2025.
