NXP Semiconductors introduces SAF9xxx family, a new audio digital signal processing solution designed for AI-based audio in automotive infotainment. The solution utilizes Cadence’s high-performance Tensilica HiFi 5 DSPs and neural-network engines to enable efficient implementation of self-learning audio and speech applications. The SAF9xxx also includes a software-defined radio option with up to 5 integrated tuners, making it a one-chip device for audio and radio applications.
