University of Pretoria students have gained expertise in audio and video processing using artificial intelligence through a partnership with MultiChoice South Africa. The collaboration has allowed students to develop AI and machine learning skills and apply them in various areas of MultiChoice’s value chain. UP students have worked on projects involving audio and video processing, recommender systems, and automated translation.
