Brain Tumor Segmentation Using Synthetic Mr Images

The article discusses the potential use of generative AI models in medical imaging to facilitate data sharing. It evaluates four GANs and a diffusion model for brain tumor segmentation and concludes that sharing synthetic medical images is a viable option, but further work is needed. The trained models and generated images are shared on AIDA data hub.
