As Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI continue to evolve, the hottest tech skills in the coming year are expected to revolve around this rapidly changing space. Additionally, new job roles are emerging such as AI ethics specialists, AI solution managers, AI learning architects, robotics engineers, chatbot developers, AI curriculum developers, and more. Reports estimate that the AI market in India, which stood at $4 billion in 2023, is projected to reach $15 billion by 2030. India contributes 16% of the global AI talent pool and leads in skilled expertise, but there is still a 51% gap between the current demand and supply of AI professionals. The Gen AI market is set to exceed $17 billion by 2030, prompting heavy investments and a shift towards internal upskilling initiatives. Top IT firms have committed to around $1 billion in boosting AI capabilities, focusing on cognitive and generative AI.
