This article provides an overview of the differences between Machine Learning and Deep Learning, two subsets of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Machine Learning is a form of AI that enables software applications to predict outcomes without being explicitly programmed to do so. Deep Learning is a subset of Machine Learning that uses artificial neural networks to process data in complex ways. Machine Learning algorithms are suitable for problems with limited data and computational resources, while Deep Learning algorithms require a large volume of data and high-end GPUs to perform optimally.
