Evolutionary Computation Meets Deep Learning

This Special Issue aims to gather a collection of the latest studies on the interplay of evolutionary computation and deep learning, from either theoretical or practical perspectives. It invites authors to submit research articles and/or review articles that explore the combination of evolutionary algorithms and deep learning methods to assist each other in algorithm configuration, evaluation substitution, etc. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously and will be peer-reviewed.
