The proportion of AI/ML-led jobs in the telecom industry is expected to reach 23% by the end of fiscal 2024 due to the 5G rollout. AI/ML roles span across profiles from network security to customer service and are in high demand due to a paucity of skilled talent. AI/ML professionals are sought after in sectors such as IT, manufacturing, and fintech. Recruitment in AI/ML across telcos has witnessed a quarter-on-quarter growth of nearly 12-15%.
