An Artificial Intelligence Model For The Radiographic Diagnosis Of Osteoarthritis Of The Temporomandibular Joint

This study aimed to develop and test the performance of an AI model based on neural networks for the diagnosis of TMJ osteoarthritis from CBCT. The study was conducted on patients aged 18-80 years who visited the Oral Diagnosis and Urgent Care Clinic at the University Dental Hospital Sharjah from November 2020 to November 2022. The results of the study showed a high degree of conformity between the expert clinicians and AI in diagnosing TMJ osteoarthritis.
