Saanvi Nyamagoud, an 8th grade student from Bengaluru, has developed an innovative prototype for early brain tumour detection using Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, problem-solving and critical thinking fundamentals. Her prototype has the potential to benefit MRI centres by reducing the time-consuming nature of the process to diagnose. With assistance from YuviPep’s mentors, Saanvi intends to refine the prototype through training using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model, which aims to seamlessly integrate it into clinical practices, offering a crucial resource for the early identification of brain tumours, cancers, and other medical conditions.
