The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has published its annual report on the top 50 most innovative companies across the globe, and 79 per cent of companies prioritizing innovation among their top three prime concerns. These companies have outperformed the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) World Index by 3.3 per cent points per year on shareholder returns. Apple, Tesla and Amazon are the top three most innovative companies in the world, each with their own unique innovation strategies. Apple focuses on creating and monopolizing out of reinvention, Tesla on fan-focused innovation, and Amazon on convenience, choice and great deals.
