Microsoft is introducing OpenAI’s GPT-4 artificial intelligence platform to its Office apps, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. AI-powered assistants called Copilots will be able to generate documents, emails and slide decks from knowledge gained from scanning corporate files and listening to conference calls. The technology is currently being tested with 20 companies, including 8 Fortune 500 companies, and will be released in the coming months.
