How Gradient Boosting Works Part1 (machine Learning)

This article proposes two frameworks to enable joint learning on both structured and unstructured data. The first framework combines gradient boosting models with deep neural networks to learn features from structured data and embeddings from unstructured data. The second framework uses two weak learners to boost the performance of a deep neural network. This research provides a potential solution to the challenge of combining structured and unstructured data.
