Microsoft’s 3rd Layoff Round Hits Employees In Supply Chain, Cloud, Iot Biz

Microsoft has recently conducted a third round of job cuts as part of its 10,000 job cuts announced earlier this year. The job cuts impacted employees in roles related to supply chain, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT). Records show that 689 employees were let go in Washington state, 617 in February and 108 in California. Additionally, Microsoft has shut down its AI-powered automation effort Project Bonsai.
