A.I. algorithms are being developed to accurately distinguish between benign and malignant skin lesions, potentially improving triage for skin cancer detection and benefiting underserved populations. The SLICE-3D dataset has been created, consisting of over 400,000 standardized, de-identified, and labeled skin images for use in non-specialized clinics.
