This article discusses the creation of a large-scale, high-precision semantic segmentation dataset for props in Chinese martial arts movie clips, named ChineseMPD. The dataset includes annotations for six weapon props and aims to expand the application of traditional computer vision tasks and open up new avenues for interdisciplinary research.
