AMD has announced its acquisition of ZT Systems for $4.9 billion, a company that provides hyperscale server solutions for cloud computing and artificial intelligence. This acquisition will accelerate the deployment of AMD-powered AI infrastructure for customers worldwide and strengthen their data center AI systems and customer enablement capabilities. ZT Systems’ expertise in systems design and rack-scale solutions will complement AMD’s high-performance AI accelerator, EPYC CPU, and networking product portfolios.
