Hailo, an Israeli edge AI chip designer, has been selected by Raspberry Pi to provide AI accelerators for the Raspberry Pi 5 AI Kit. This partnership will bring access to Hailo’s high-performance and power-efficient AI accelerator to both professional and enthusiast creators for various edge AI applications. The Hailo-8L M.2 AI acceleration module provides 13 TOPS of edge AI inference and is fully integrated with Raspberry Pi’s camera software stack. Hailo’s processors are available in both commercial and industrial grade and have already been deployed by over 300 customers worldwide.
