The article discusses the use of Internet of Things (IoT) and image processing techniques for crowd control in public places. The proposed method uses a switching based algorithm (SBA) and a separate architecture for data storage and processing. Five scenarios were tested and the results showed an improvement of 83% compared to existing models.
