OPPO has opened an AI Centre in Shenzhen to develop AI capabilities in various areas. IDC predicts a 250% growth in shipments of AI-enabled phones under $1000 by 2024. OPPO’s flagship series will feature Google’s Gemini family LLMs, introducing AI features such as AI Writer and AI Recording Summary. OPPO has introduced over 100 generative AI capabilities and filed over 5,399 AI patents globally. The company has formed strategic partnerships with Google, Microsoft, and MediaTek to reinforce its AI ecosystem.
