Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology allows customers to shop without waiting in long queues by using computer vision, deep-learning algorithms, and sensory fusion technologies to determine what items they took and left the store with. Customers are linked to a virtual shopping cart and their payment method, and a unique in-store code is generated on the Amazon app. This technology is currently available at Amazon Go stores in the US and select Amazon Fresh stores in the UK.
