This article discusses recent research in computational imaging and the development of an open-access Cervical Spine X-ray Atlas (CSXA) to aid in the advancement of machine learning techniques for image recognition in the medical field. The CSXA includes raw and annotated images with detailed information and an efficient algorithm to transform keypoints into quantitative parameters for cervical spine disease diagnosis and treatment.
