The School of Engineering at MIT has welcomed 15 new faculty members who specialize in a diverse range of disciplines and conduct research that intersects with multiple fields. These new faculty members have joint appointments with other units across MIT, including the MIT Stephen A. Schwarzman College of Computing and the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Their research areas have the potential for significant impact and they are expected to excel as both researchers and educators.
