Google’s annual developer conference, Google I/O, is showcasing the company’s advancements in artificial intelligence with the release of new models and APIs. These include Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash, which have one million token context windows and support parallel function calling and native video frame extraction. Google is also expanding its open family of models with PaliGemma, designed for multimodal vision-language tasks, and plans to release a 27 billion parameter model in June.
