Syntiant has unveiled a third generation of its at-memory compute core, the NDP250, which offers 5× the tensor throughput and supports models up to 6 million parameters with 30-GOPS INT8 performance in a power envelope between 10 and 100 mW. The company’s previous-generation core is already in production devices such as video doorbells and automotive interfaces. Syntiant also acquired a computer vision model company, Pilot.ai, to offer both silicon and models for ultra-low-power processing in computer vision applications.
