NPCI is exploring the use of ANPR technology to make toll payments easier and more seamless, potentially overcoming issues with FASTags. This technology utilizes computer vision and machine learning to automatically recognize vehicle license plates and debit corresponding payment accounts. Additionally, NPCI is also exploring the use of graph analysis and behavioural biometrics to enhance security and prevent illicit activities in transactions.
