Amazon invests in Anthropic, a San Francisco startup working on AI, to create a competitor to chipmaker Nvidia. Other tech giants like Google, Meta, and Microsoft are also building their own AI chips to reduce costs and eliminate chip shortages. However, they must balance competing with Nvidia while working closely with the company and its CEO, Jensen Huang.
