Nvidia has surpassed Intel in annual revenue, mainly due to high demand for its data center GPUs driven by generative AI. Intel’s CEO expressed concern about Nvidia’s dominance and vowed to challenge the GPU designer. However, Nvidia’s latest earnings show that it will take a lot of work for Intel to catch up in the AI chip market.
