This Special Issue focuses on the latest and full-length research in the areas of image analysis and computer vision. It aims to bring comprehensive advances in the field of image analysis and computer vision, particularly focusing on low-/high-level tasks. Topics of interest include but are not limited to bio-based, statistical, learning-based, or other research, and theoretical or heuristic approaches. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
