Researchers from MIT, ETH Zurich, and MIT spinout Inkbit have developed a new high-throughput, multimaterial 3D inkjet printer that uses computer vision to rapidly and automatically control the amount of material being printed in real-time. This allows engineers to print with high-performance materials that cure slowly, like silicone and epoxy, which they couldn’t use before.
