Khadija Iddrisu is a PhD candidate at the Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics based in Dublin City University (DCU). She is researching the challenge of ‘motion blur’ in computer-vision research and how the tech benefits the sports, medicine and driving sectors. Her research focuses on the applications of machine learning in medical imaging, specifically brain scans, and the use of event cameras for face-tracking and blink-detection. She has also conducted extensive literature research to explore the wide range of applications of computer vision.
